Insomnia & the return of Bruce Wayne
Ok so I still haven’t slept but I did figure out most of Grant Morrison’s end game for Batman.
You find out that when darkside killed Orion it unbalanced the hero myth. If your aware of Grant Morrison’s concept of ” the story” from superman 3d, then you understand that “the story” has to have a balance of a “hero” and “villain”. When Orion died Batman became the personification of the ” hunter/hero” to balance out “the story” .In final crisis when Batman kills Darkside it unblances the hero myth again creating a “hole” where the “villain” should be. The Omega Sanction that teleports batman also rearranges the Wayne family history attempting to create/recreate the ultimate villian ie : Dr. Thomas Wayne aka ( Dr. Hurt ). Not coincadently the same name as Bruce’s farther; since darkside is the farther of Orion.
Most likely in Batman Must Die at the moment that Dr. Hurt suceedes in filling the hole left by darkside, the often mentioned “hole in things” Bruce will return to the present to complete the hero myth that he created in Final Crisis. In final crisis batman created/fullfillec the myth of good triumphing over evil.
Seriously I haven’t slept.this essay is full of typos and grammerical errors because I typed it on my Iphone instead of sleeping. After a couple hours of sleep I’ll reedit it so it makes more sense. I basically just wanted to get this out there.
